I've grown accustom to being let down by the Clippers front office. They've wasted draft picks on terrible players (most notably Olowokandi and Korolev), hired terrible coaches (Alvin Gentri and of course, Dumbleavy), and always find a way to piss off the fans.
When I found out that Marcus Camby was traded this afternoon to the Blazers for Travis Outlaw, Steve Blake and $3 mill, I wanted to throw my computer at the wall.
How in the hell do you trade the league's second-leading rebounder and the team's hardest worker for basically nothing in return except for cash? Sterling and Dunleavy should be ashamed of themselves for doing this.
We all know the Clippers are a terrible team. Now they're a terrible team with no morale.
The ship tipped over when Blake went down before the start of the regular season. It got destroyed when we found out he wasn't playing this season at all.
And now it has crashed into a fuckin' iceberg with no hope of bouncing back from the depths of the sea.
We've got money, but there's no chance of the team landing a big free agent. Who the hell would want to play for a team where management treats the players like shit?
Way to go, front office. Once again you've found a way to F us in the butt.
